Club History

The Super Eagles are back at the finals after missing out on the last two editions, 2015 & 2017. The two-time champions will be hoping to re-establish themselves amongst the elites of African football in Egypt under the watch of Franco-German trainer Gernot Rohr.

  • Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo was the top goalscorer in 2019 AFCON qualifying, scoring seven goals. Ighalo netted in four of the six matches, scoring a hat-trick against Libya in October 2018.
